The City

Loulé is the Portugal’s largest municipality and an important economic centre, with tourist coastal towns and inland areas that depend on trade and agriculture. At the city’s outskirts site some of the best-known tourist areas in the Algarve, such as Quarteira, Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, Dunas Douradas, at the coast, and Salir or Alte, at inland.
